I STILL haven't looked at it in the dark! Does it just 'charge up' from ambient light?

Needs to be plugged

It's best charged by putting near a lamp light bulb for full effect
The stronger wattage bulb you have
Not to close though as in make sure it's not touching the bulb

The charge will wear off quickly so you will need to freshen up the charge if you want the full effect every time

If you want to use natural sun light it will take a few hours and needs a good line of sight as normal room light won't have much of an effect

After having had these in my possession for a few weeks now, I'm revising my statement above:

I like the Paper Full Slip and the 1/4 Slip the most and the PET Full Slip last.

This is very interesting as on first look my view also and your vote ,most people liked were going to buy fullslip PET
maybe is was the full green night vision and soldiers operators aspect.
and seems like in hand the lentis the big fave vote is flip flopped
On the Auction sites wouldn't quite go as far as there giving them away but the lenti seem a hard sell
up for maybe 25 30 % less than other versions and not selling
guess thats good if you having managed to get one from the official or semi official routes.

Well my parcel is def lost or god knows where it is and Plain Archive do not seem to be doing much about it, I emailed them again yesterday for an update and if no luck for a refund, if I do not hear back from them by end of the week I will file a claim on Paypal. I really don't want to go that route as PA have a great staff & I do support them but guess will have no other choice...

I've got everything but the keepcase and I can't believe I'm saying this but I might actually prefer the 1/4 slip. Lenticular, with a PET backing. It's really something else.

PET is very nice, maybe not as cool as ISTD. Still like it because it's bright green and different from everything but ISTD.

Full Slip is also gorgeous. Nice texture which is a perfect marriage with the hand-drawn look of the artwork.

If you're not sold on the 1/4 slip, you can't go wrong with either of the other 2. Just stare at some pictures, and whichever holds up best is the one for you. PET is harder to get at a reasonable price though, so keep that in mind.
