Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced “The Hunger Games” for Blu-ray release on August 18. The Hunger Games is the first in a trilogy based on the work of Suzanne Collins that is set in the future, one male and one female from each of the twelve districts of the nation is forced to participate in the annual competition called The Hunger Games. The release will come in a 2-Disc Blu-ray combo pack that will include a digital copy as well. Also, an eight part documentary called “The World is Watching: Making of The Hunger Games” will be included in the supplements. Check below for a list of technical specifications and supplements.
