Even tho its Mongrel Media I see a small Universal logo on back slip. So I guess that is parent in CA *shrug* ... if so, then one would assume region free. As they dont have the region coding logos so I'm guessing thats cause its region free.

I do hope they used the poster art from Mondo on the back or inside, otherwise I might consider passing. Though I do like the front.

Wow, I didn't really believe in Ex Machina. But the art just doesn't convince me this time, unfortunately. In the instagram video you can see the back. So this is propably a "no" for me. But nothing is written in stone...

And I realized that the logos are from top to bottom now instead from left to right?

The slip looks great, much better than the poster previously released but the steel itself looks uninspired. I'm glad it isn't the art from the poster, but I'm worried that this sets a bad precedent for future mondo releases. If they jump in now and then with new art not from a Mondo poster then that just loses the mondo aspect of the steelbook collection. It's a Jock steelbook, not a mondo steelbook. Unless Mondo releases this as a poster sometime later. I guess either way it's artwork commissioned by mondo, but I just like the idea of getting the art from Mondo posters released in another way.

It's so strange how many people are disappointed by this, because this has been one of my favorite films I've seen this year. Not to mention, this is only the 4th Mondo steelbook I actually enjoy the film. And to the people complaining the cover looks like it should be for a horror movie...did you guys see this yet? While it's a sci-fi thriller, it definitely has elements of horror. I'd say this film is terrifying.

I absolutely love the new art and slip as they create the perfect package. Both pieces are simplistic and very different from some of the "busy" mondos artworks we've seen so far. Being mondo, i cant wait to see what the pain finish looks in hand, maybe silver sparkles in white gloss paint

Nobody has commented about the "Mondo Steelbook" and "Only @" logos being changed for the first time. Instead of running horiztonal across the lower 1/3 of the slip...it's vertical across the left edge. Could #000-009 all have it horizontal, and #010-019 all have this new vertical logo? Or just trying it out this one time?

Funny while I wasnt that big of a Fan of the movie itself the artwork and steelbook concept is actually doing it for me! Might have to get this afterall

Another July release, abort mission! Cool art though, not bad at all. All my excitement went to Flash Gordon (even if only a tiny amount), then to Shaun of the Dead, then to The Thing, then to The Terminator 2, I have none left for this unfortunately. I'll be back (hah) when there's a release which doesn't come in July. Or August. Or this year. January 2016 would be a fine release date for the next one. I'm only joking a little bit, but seriously if there's no more Mondos until December or well November I would be perfectly fine with that.

Really excited to see the movie since Sci-Fi is my first love. Anyone who saw the movie can say if the art fits the movie? Mondo says it captures the movie perfectly... Slip looks really nice, Steelbook itself looks without seeing the film a little bit boring to me. But that might be change when I saw the movie. So, don't know to join the GB
