The BD is region free but the DVD is region 2

Good to know, do you know if Amazon does some type of replacement for the disc to be in the correct region? I know it's a stretch but might as well ask, i mainly care about the feature film being region free

No Amazon does any kind of region-related (or any other kind, if you stop think about it) disc replacements.

They simply sell the products they get from the film distributor companies in their respective country of business (US, CA, UK, DE, FR, IT, JP, CN).

Watched both Boondock Saints 1 & 2 over the weekend......I think this will look excellent in-hand!

Has anyone tried price matching the amazon listing with one of the other stores selling this?
Does Amazon.de price match like US Amazon does with some items?

If so, this could save us quite a bit

EDIT: I've sent them an email asking about it. They told me they can't price match other stores. Was worth a shot lol

For Amazon orders outside the U.S., do they automatically update the new price before ship? Or should I cancel and reorder. At the moment with the price drop it is 2 euros cheaper than what I ordered

Every Amazon site always honors their pre-order price guarantee, no matter where the buyer is from. The process is completely automatic, but during the pre-order stage it may take a day or two before the new price is reflected in one's order details.

Right now, my order shows a price that is 3 EUR lower than what it was at the time of placing the order, i.e., the previous price reduction has been applied. In a couple of days, this latest price will be shown.

If price is lowered right before the release date, the price reduction will be refunded to the buyer's CC. Works like a clockwork, every time.
