I think they zoomed in on the photo too much so that it has lost the original intention.

(it isn't censored because of the swastika, is it? Inglourious Basterds sure wasn't)

Am I the only one to think this cover is awful ?

Awesome movie, by the way... I would prefer a digibook for this one, but a steelbook will be nice too ;)

No you're not. I welcome alternative/new artwork, but not if it ain't an improvement. Because they've cut away Norton's arm on his swastika tattoo the photo loses most of its symbolism and becomes just a dull headshot :squint:

The only thing I can say about the Tatoo being missing is it isn't in the regular release either. The regular release is a worse picture than this.

Not the direction we I would've gone but I like all of the gray shading being that a lot of the film is black and white. this is one cover where the less color the better because the way Derrick saw everything was black and white. Now that I brought the room down sounding like a douchy film student....

OMG, it's been a few years since I've last seen this movie and it strikes me that I do not recall it being in black and white... All the more credit to the makers I think!

Yeah, it's one Changes in the movie that makes sense so you never question it. I just watched it like a month ago so it's fresh in my mind. I guess the other reason i like the cover is because I'm notma fan of busy covers unless it makes sense. The movie is pretty straight forward so it makes sense.
