As it is a zavvi exclusive, i do not see them making the "surprise" anything related to HDN... or am i wrong?

That crossed my mind,but it'll be a 2 pence tiny plastic one.
I haven't seen this film but the moment I saw that art work I pre ordered. Its beautifully done so I have to have it. . I like these types of movies so it's not a stretch to buy this unseen. If it looks as good in hand as the above pic, then it'll be one of my favourite steels.

I've just noticed the pic above of the cover of the old release artworks and recognised the film, so checked if I already own it on dvd.. Which I do but haven't watched it,so I'm gonna have to resist watching it so I can fully enjoy the blu ray steel release

If you like samurai/ sword fighting movies, this movie is great. You will not be dissapointed

The surprise will be an art card of a HDN Ninja holding a samurai sword as the 14th assassin.

I had the opportunity to pick this movie on blu for £2.50 (as my local xtra vision is closing here in Carrickfergus) but DAMN.!!! That's one fine looking steelbook.
Its worth paying the extra.

I am also doing a review of my pre-orders but i am getting this. Great samurai movie

The artwork for this is a little bit generic, but it's not too bad I guess; it's a helluva lot better than what Zatoichi got at least. What really bugs me though is how the guy on the front isn't even the main character. I really like this movie though but I don't love or hate the art so I guess I'm on the fence for now. I think the biggest draw for me will be if they change the guy on the cover.
