Frustrated Star Trek GIF
In a weird but also annoying way I’m happy weet have done this before the Manta pre order. Because it also confirms Blufans to me too so it means we’ve gone from one rare premium to 3 within a few days which Is crazy. But also because of how badly Mantas has been received you’ll get another 2 chances of at least one of the retailers getting it right. Hopefully. And Mantas was a lovely surprise but unfortunately disappointing reveal. And after Mad Max, Furiosa and what Interstellar seems to be turning into, I’m more excited to see how this turns out over Mantas now.

But also if this is equally as sh!t and if Blufans do In fact announce and also produce sh!t then I’ll have no issues skipping them. Especially when for Blufans it will only be a DL available separately

Why does this mean Blufans are also likely to release it? I find it bizarre there have been no premium releases for this in 10 years and then we get 2 announcements in 3 days. Is there a reason retailers seem to all release the same films shortly after one another? I've only been collecting premiums for a couple of years but the release schedules totally confuse me with them all copying each other. Is there logic behind it or do the retailers just all get fomo of missing out

No idea. Tbh I see it happen most with WB titles because Blufans, Manta and Weet all have licensing with them and it just always seems to happen they announce 1 after the other or around the same time. But it’s also happening with paramount titles now too. I feel like weet have got this info out today because manta have announced it this week though. In a kind of petty way. That’s how I read it anyway

I’ve always assumed the studios push the titles most the time. Especially the big ones. WB, paramount etc. especially with the Korean and Chinese premium retailers. It’s the only explanation to me why we got all the dark knights, godfathers etc etc from them. Unless it’s just here’s a list, the retailers pick a bunch, told here’s what you are also releasing at some point and coincidentally they are just releasing them at the same time
