Tell you what that was a sneaky one from Zavvi going live on a monday not much warning bet a few people at work will miss this

sometimes zavvi's ways of communicating things to customers seem to be confused and chaotic, but i think they know exactly what they're doing, whether it's customer service, "sold-out" tactics or announcements and so on. they know how to create a hype. this will sell out within the next 2 hours, tonight we will have a lot of "damn, i missed this" talk.

How about the JSDVD hype? They do it everytime and few days after release date they acquire plenty of stock.

i you were referring to my posting somehow, i did not say zavvi are the only ones with tactics to create interest of customers, i didn't even critizise them for having a certain strategy that doesn't please everybody in the end... it was just a pure IMO i think they know now what they're doing. :)
