Pictured are the German versions I assume. May be nice!

If these are not the Extended Versions I will not bother, Korean or not...

Why does it matter about the version? How many of you guys buying these Korean steelbooks are gonna open them and watch them anyway? None of you probably. Well, if they have nice slips anyway.

Boggles my mind.

Who are you to judge?

I like movies first and foremost. I polybag my steels with the info sheet/slips still on the steel so a nice slip still has its appeal even though I open them.

I have the Best Buy Theatrical steels and would not consider purchasing these unless they are the Extended versions myself.

My main point in my comment was most people prefer the Extended cut of the films and they have not been released in any country yet so a release is pointless especially if they are using old artwork unless they bring something NEW to the table... ie... the extended cuts!

Quoted running times in the advance release info are:

Fellowship 178 mins
2 Towers 179 mins
Return of the King 201 mins

And each is advertised as a single disc. That being the case it seems they aren't going to be the extended cuts.

That said, the above info is subject to confirmation so I guess it's still possible.

No further info, which is really surprising seeing as they have the same release date as The Hobbit. I would have expected to see these up for preorder by now.

I only hope the delays mean that the specs might be updated and that they might be confirmed as the extended versions rather than the theatrical cuts.

Boy, if I can get the 3d Hobbit from KR, I'm going to HAVE TO get these - don't have LotR in any form as yet. EEK!

Release date for these has now been changed to 30th April.

And the spec has also been revised to show that all will now be 2-disc editions (which I'm guessing means the extended cuts?)

If these are the extended cuts they will sell FAST! I wonder if TW will follow? TW usually does, though so does Japan. I predict an expensive month.

When is it not an expensive month. I only buy the ones i really want now and even doing that puts a massive hole in my pockets :hilarious:

If these are extended then it is another must have
