You will probably get tomorrow morning. It takes a couple hours to get, usually by the next day though.

Hehe, very cool! I'll be seeing Deathly Hallows 7.2 in a real IMAX with a few friends who have all enjoyed this series over the years. Sadly there's no "real" IMAX near me for Super 8 this weekend, but given this code, I'll still take the bigger screen despite the faux IMAX, just for the sound alone, for my boy JJ Abrams!:)

oh ya ill still go to my amc fake imax with discount codes as its still big. I just wont pay the full price premium if I have a choice lol

Whats diff between real and fake ?

Some screens aren't IMAX screens. For instance IMAX close to my parents house in North Carolina is a ****** planetary screen. So you have to look at the celling and it's a curved screen!

I'm going to see Super 8 and Harry Potter with my tickets! :) (I bought a pair and a friend bought a pair)

Wreck, smaller screens that have the same sound and pic IMAX tech are being marked as "IMAX" screens. They do have the tech but they are much smaller than a full size IMAX screen. So people are really too thrilled paying premiums for small IMAX screens, when the full size is the only "real" IMAX, in reality. Here is another link with more info-top right has a map of real vs. fake IMAX screens.

Of course it's still relative, depending on the viewer-the hub bub on the internet from those wanting to punish IMAX as a corporation, is generally because they are using the IMAX name to market small and the largest screens alike, and people feel they are being "duped".

Generally the movie screens that are marked with the IMAX logo are still larger and have more dynamic sound than the "real", and largest IMAX screens in the world, including those throughout the US. So many viewers are still willing to pay the premium-depends how strongly you feel about it. For me, there is a significant difference between experiencing a film on a full size IMAX screen, vs a smaller one, because the larger screens virtually block your periphery vision, so it's much more immersive. For the flicks I REALLY need to see as large as possible, we go to the biggest IMAX screens in NY or PA. For those that I really want to see, but am not willing to drive 1.5-2 hrs for, I go to the faux Imax (smaller "IMAX" screen 10 min from our house).
