Exclusive to Amazon.com, the Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition combines all the innovation and authenticity of Madden NFL 25, a 17 week Madden Ultimate Team pack subscription, and exclusive offers for DirecTV and NFL Sunday Ticket. Each Anniversary Edition includes a special code for eligible gamers giving them the opportunity to unlock a special, 2013 regular season (17 weeks) trial of NFL Sunday Ticket on computer, tablet, and mobile devices. For fans who are able to receive DirecTV service, a special promo code will be included entitling them to an exclusive promotion, including $10 off per month for their first year of service, and one year of NFL Sunday Ticket Max at no additional charge.

i wonder why they call it regular season trial? Watch it be you get to choose 1 extra game to watch LOL. idk ... Sounds like it could be an awesome deal. I dont have directTV just curious if I can hook my tablet up to my tv via HDMI and still watch. *shrug*

Not a Madden fan but this sounds like a great deal. I prefer to watch on my tv however. The mobile ticket stuff is always on a delay too.

This deal is not as good as it sounds. It does not get you NFL Sunday Ticket if you are already a subscriber, only via computer/iphone/android. If you don't have DirecTV and sign up using this trial, then you get NFL Sunday Ticket on your TV and computer/iphone/android.

But the catch is at that time in the season DirecTV always give NFL Sunday Ticket free (at least the last 2 years) when you sign up for their service.

that makes more sense.

but from this...
For fans unable to receive DirecTV service, each Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition will include a unique code to access the 2013 regular season (17 weeks) trial of NFL Sunday Ticket on computers, tablets, and mobile devices- including access to the award-winning Red Zone Channel

I'm counting on being able to stream it through XBL when the time comes. I already do it with ESPN & the MLB package.

just announced that the NFL will be partnering with Xbox to include live broadcasts....:D

It does not include live broadcasts, just an overlay for fantasy according to reports. No way the NFL would give that way for free when people shovel out money for NFL Sunday Ticket (which is available on PS3).

Obviously you didn't watch the Live Announce or read the posts prior to the one I made today. ;)

It will indeed include live broadcasts so if you have the Sunday Ticket you will be able to watch all the games through Xbox One.

I watched the Live broadcast and read all the release documents. It states nothing of live broadcasts. It's probably just like PS3 where you have to buy Sunday Ticket. It's not free.

Also the Madden 25 deal will not let you watch Sunday Ticket through the PS3 App.. So it won't let you through the Xbox App, it's for phones and computer streaming only.

The NFL Exclusivity with Xbox is only for overlay of fantasy to your Live TV experience. So you have to have cable/satellite ported into the xbox, for this to even work.

It was in the announce, dude. Live broadcasts will be a part of the partnership between Xbox & the NFL. It's an exclusive partnership. You missed it, obviously.

Yes, you still have to buy Sunday Ticket if you want to watch every game.

You're a hater. Stop hating in Xbox threads.

You contradict yourself. It's available, but I have to buy Sunday Ticket. This is wrong information.

It's only an overlay of stats. Broadcasts are through the HDMI in option on the console, which is for all TV, if you even have a cable/satellite box.

I'm also not hating. I'm pointing out facts about the console. I want Microsoft to push the gaming genre and advance it. I don't see them doing it so far with the Xbox One.

You don't get it, do you? I can download the MLB App for free and I get 1 designated free game per day, but I still have to pay $125 if I want to watch every out of market game.

Get it?

There is no information stating anything like that on the Xbox. I want facts. So far everything points to just an overlay of stats, and them helping coaches and replays.
