Looks like UK also getting the SteelBook with artwork thats used with North America releases.

WB Shop UK have listed with a release date August 11, 2024

I don't know yet if this will be a WB Shop exclusive or trade wide

When WB Shop have a exclusive that sometimes only gets mentioned a few days/weeks later after been listed.

Think it'll be sold by say Zavvi and Hmv as well ?
It's not known yet if will trade wide or if it's still happening.
WB Shop often when they have a exclusive that's not always mentioned until a few weeks later when they update listing on the website.

Same happened with Beetlejuice SteelBook only release it was 2 weeks later when that was updated to mention exclusive

I think he just meant it vaguely resembles an example of an old school VHS. Not the specific film.

Has no resemblance to example of any film old school retail UK VHS releases
I still have a lot VHS releases in my collection and that includes Retail/Rental versions. I also still have some distributor's timecoded promo VHS releases

Yes some early rental VHS from 70's and early 80's there was warner chamshell VHS releases has that had that look but those releases was before UK 1984 video recording act that required age rating be on videos

I agree that the poster meant that it's 'in the style of' an old VHS release, not that it actually looks like any particular release. Surely you can clearly see that the design has been made to look like an old school VHS case with the paper cover sleeve poking out the top and bottom of the somewhat tatty and ripped clear plastic outer sleeve! :)

come on now GIF by IFC

Put yourself in the mind of an over eager, over paid, slightly below average intelligence, corporate advertising intern, then tell me it doesn't slightly try to resemble an example of an old school VHS cover.
