Seriously one of the premium retailers needs to hit Paramount up, so many of their films get shoddy Steelbook treatment

WeET barely have any relationships these days, don't know why they don't do it

Maybe Daniel Astro could since he is doing a small indie premium line.

I really hope that he does some better catalogue titles like- Scooby Doo, Dodgeball, Tropic Thunder or others to get a nice steelbook treatment

The only one of those even remotely plausible would be Tropic Thunder, but there's no 4K in the UK, which would make it a bit of a reluctant choice tbh.

You need to think about what would actually sell.. not "I wish", because he'd take a massive bath if he tried releasing a 3K print premium of Scooby Doo

Can you just imagine a scooby doo one click. Hilarious

I would be in heaven if we got a Premium steelbook of Scooby Doo! Heck, Warner Bros classics is releasing Scooby Doo & the Witches Ghost on bluray so there is still an audience for the content even with their abysmal Velma show

I do wonder how Daniel picks his films lol! All the projects I'm signing for my steelbook label are forthcoming so catalogue titles would be most interesting...

KOSM has allegedly got a deal with Paramount... Wayne's World will be the first release, but with a WWA steelbook...
Either way, for there to be anything real and good, it's gotta be a large company that does things relatively fast, NOT a single person like KOSM or 'Astro', that will have 1 release in half a year at best.
We need 2 releases per month, like Second Sight, or Arrow, to satisfy the potential output of such a studio.
Some kid of some rich IT guy is basically buying the whole Paramount studio for 8 billion. If he was a fan of such releases, he could change things around.
Hell, I could be buying that studio, if only I took just $6000 laying around in 2011, and bought 123k BTC at 5 cents... EEK!

If I do get this, it'll have to be after a massive price drop, otherwise I'm not bothering with that art. Shame, because I really enjoyed the film

I would 100% be down for a Scooby Doo premium, it's barely even out on bluray in the UK never mind a nice edition.

So that's 2 sold

Tbh the first title wasn't exactly a grail for most people but it sold out anyway.
