Info regarding missing Audio Track at Flicker Alley site and Disc Replacement Form:

*Confirmed: No need to send back the original disc*

Dear Flicker Alley Customer: Please note that one of the bonus feature audio options on the Blu-ray disc of our limited SteelBook edition -- A Trip to the Moon in B&W Audio Option 1, featuring Robert Israel's orchestral score and the original English narration written by Georges Melies -- is currently missing its narration track and only features Robert Israel's orchestral score. As such, all Blu-ray discs shipped at this time will be with this orchestral score only configuration.

This only affects the Blu-ray disc of this set. The DVD disc in this publication contains the correct audio for this bonus feature.

We are currently in the process of remastering and remanufacturing a Blu-ray disc which will have the correct audio option for this particular bonus feature, and will make it available by request to customers who fill out our on-line Disc Replacement Form below.

Please complete the following form with as much of your original order information as possible (to verify your purchase) and we will contact you once the replacement discs have been manufactured and are ready for shipment.

Moony, do you mean March 23, maybe? If so, it's possible it just in customs...I wouldn't worry too much as long as it moves along:)

Digitalbabe, of course, it's March, and I hope it's already in customs. I bought a region-free blu ray player especially for this and hope to be able to watch it soon.

Hey Moony my steel arrived today ( bought from flickery preordered in January ) So maybe in a few days you get yours :)

I have so much to pay for on other Group buys I have not gotten me a copy of this. I hope they have some available the first week of May. :ohno:

Is anyone else having a tough time getting someone to respond for the disc replacement? I sent my form in electronically about a week and a half ago, and never got a response. Every time I call their phone number, I get answering machine. The (800) leads to a mortgage refinance automated message lol.

kind of shotty communication here....

is this region locked?

Hi,
It is supposed to be region A locked, but I did override the region restriction on my B locked player by pressing "Top menu" when I got the non playable message on my TV screen but I cannot guarantee that it will work on all region B locked players though.

Flickeralley now has this message in its site:

We regret that we must now charge a nominal "Postage and Mailing Supplies" fee of US$3.50 for any order being sent within the United States and US$4.95 to any order being sent outside of the US.

Meaning you have to order the replacement blu-ray although the missing audio track is their fault and you even have to pay for it. :(
