Info regarding missing Audio Track at Flicker Alley site and Disc Replacement Form:

*Confirmed: No need to send back the original disc*

Dear Flicker Alley Customer: Please note that one of the bonus feature audio options on the Blu-ray disc of our limited SteelBook edition -- A Trip to the Moon in B&W Audio Option 1, featuring Robert Israel's orchestral score and the original English narration written by Georges Melies -- is currently missing its narration track and only features Robert Israel's orchestral score. As such, all Blu-ray discs shipped at this time will be with this orchestral score only configuration.

This only affects the Blu-ray disc of this set. The DVD disc in this publication contains the correct audio for this bonus feature.

We are currently in the process of remastering and remanufacturing a Blu-ray disc which will have the correct audio option for this particular bonus feature, and will make it available by request to customers who fill out our on-line Disc Replacement Form below.

Please complete the following form with as much of your original order information as possible (to verify your purchase) and we will contact you once the replacement discs have been manufactured and are ready for shipment.

Flickeralley now has this message in its site:

We regret that we must now charge a nominal "Postage and Mailing Supplies" fee of US$3.50 for any order being sent within the United States and US$4.95 to any order being sent outside of the US.

Meaning you have to order the replacement blu-ray although the missing audio track is their fault and you even have to pay for it. :(

really... so your in theory buying a blu ray that has faulty/missing/out of sync audio and if you want a corrected blu-ray you got to spend a extra 4.95? :hilarious:

Not very happy with the way this is being handled. I went online to fill out the form, but I have no confirmation of anything. I better not be stuck with a bill for all these replacement discs. It was something they screwed up and I should not have to pay for replacements.

They say it's to protect them against fraud.
However, everybody ordering a replacement should have the original invoice number.

I nevertheless ordered my replacements, their system then charges an extra $10 for shipping to Germany, which will then be refunded.

I'm still not very happy to have to pay for it.

I have order a replacement disc and they want 30$ for shipping to Italy + 4,95$ for disc, I dont have proceed
I have pay much low the steelbook with the shipping :(

Just got this email from them, no shipping costs mentioned. Since i had placed two separate orders, if they do charge shipping they better not double charge as opposed to sending the 3 disks in one shipment.

Dear Flicker Alley Customer:

We are writing to confirm your request for a Blu-ray disc replacement of our limited SteelBook edition A Trip to the Moon/The Extraordinary Voyage. We want to let you know that the replacement Blu-ray discs have now been manufactured to correct the audio mastering error on one of the bonus feature black and white versions.

We will be processing and shipping your requested replacement disc(s) before the end of this week to the address that you keyed-in on the replacement disc order form made available on our website. USPS First-Class Mail will be used for both domestic and international addresses.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience related to your purchase of this set, and thank you for your patience during the re-mastering and re-manufacturing process.

Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

Best wishes,

The Flicker Alley Team

I got the same message and they emailed me earlier on that they will send two replacement copies 'cause I ordered two original copies (hopefully).
