Adam's Grub Truck

I saw this food truck while I was out seeing clients last week and then went on Yelp to check it out. They make a sandwich called the "Ultimate Adam Bomb" for $25. If you can finish it in 30 minutes, you get a free t-shirt and a photo of how beastly your appetite is plastered on their truck. I heard from a friend that the count now is 27 KOs and 0 losses in favor of the Ultimate Adam Bomb.

This sandwich is basically grilled cheese sandwiches (in placement of the buns!!!! Ridiculous!), meaty bacon strips, fried spam, 3-4 fried eggs, pulled pork, bbq sauce, fried chicken cutlet, fried soft shell crab and cole slaw. Top that off with some waffle cut fries and I read this monster weighs in at 7lbs. Take that challenge!

It's obscenely ridiculous, I won't bother ordering it unless I'm sharing it with at least 4 other people. They also have a version that's half as big just called the plain Adam Bomb.

I ate 3 in 30 minutes.
Three bites that is... :)

Wow thats huge .... but check this out .... ;)

In Amarillo texas you have to eat a 72 oz steak , salad, 2 rolls and baked potato. This is advertised on I-40 all throughout AZ, NM, TX and OK.

You should take a pic of you in your T-shirt you got for eating it.

If you are at any hotel/motel in that town and willing to eat there they will pick you up and drop you off in an old school limo that has horns on the front. :p

I could also put a dent in that steak but not the rest. I finished a 42oz porterhouse steak with some sides and bread once. I didn't feel like eating anything or even drinking water for the next 36 hours.

wow thats amazing!

I haven't found anywhere that can make a porterhouse steak as good as mine so I probably couldn't finish that steak but Holy Smokes, that sandwich in the OP looks soooo good. I probably couldn't finish 7lbs. of food anyways but I sure would try. Oh man! ...now I'm hungry.

That was when I was lifting weights and exercising almost every day, plus drinking some wine and cocktails really upped by appetite.

I also tried taking a Pho Challenge at a local Vietnamese restaurant called Pho Garden. It's 2lbs of meat and 2lbs of noodles for something like $22. You have to sign a waiver and they give you 60 minutes to finish. If you do, then the meal is free and you get your pictures on their wall. If you fail, you can still get your picture on their wall of shame. They make you hold up little flags that say "I Failed!" and "I got Pho'd up!" I'm in the later group :(

I only ate at Salt Grass once when I lived in Fort Worth and that was the last time too. Man you talk about expensive but the steak was pretty damn good though.

The Baby looks filling:hilarious:

That does not look like a porterhouse to me! I do not even see a bone. Maybe a really thick NY strip butterflied? I am a large guy but I don't think I could beat either of those challenges! The sandwich looks delicious!
