This was my last order outstanding with Zavvi, will not be blind buying any other steels from them anymore.
Will wait for confirmed art or in hand pics before ordering anything else, saves the disappointment.

I think it looks nice, could've been glossy but IMHO the front looks classy. I wonder if this will be available for a while? I'm about to be charged for an extra copy of Ant-Man I requested to cancel so unfortunately funds could get scarce but I would like this.

The design isn't the problem. The front would be fine if it wasn't so faded that it almost looks like a plain black steelbook unless you look directly at it straight on. The images posted make it look nicer than it is, in normal light it's terrible.

Inside artwork saves it for me. It's a better value for me because the Bluray set is around $34 (with taxes) exclusively from Amazon. I paid $35.96 for this and get to keep all my Marvel properties as Steelbooks.

Also, that's a big-ass MARVEL logo.

Already have. Sent a steel back to them and they reimbursed the cost and postage. I find with Zavvi it's best to treat them with contempt and threaten them. They always comply with me.

we shouldn't have to become irate and start kicking off just to get a fair/standard result from them.

no other company I know is that slack (though 02 came close but made up for it after I raised a formal complaint - 6 month issue, resolved in 3 weeks - wasnt their fault to start with but it escalated after a lot of waiting around). They at least try to do something, even if its just along the lines of normal problem procedures etc

It strikes me as another Disney botch-job. Since the dawn of home video, they've been unable to get their designs right. Consistency certainly isn't their strong point (although they have finally re-released their Classics in matching packaging).

Steelbooks are probably still their weakest area. Their Classics range is all over the place. For example...

Fantasia - matte finish - embossed - full front artwork
Bambi - gloss finish - embossed - full front artwork
Aladdin - gloss finish - embossed - no Disney logo on the spine
Hercules - gloss finish - embossed - framed art on the front
Frozen - matte finish - no embossing - no title - extra picture on the spine

With their Marvel range it's even worse. Some have the Marvel logo on the spine at the top, others at the bottom. Some are gloss, others matte. Some have titles whereas others don't. Some are embossed, others debossed and some totally flat. Some have pictures on the back others a single image, and so on and so forth.

Why does this have a huge embossed Marvel logo on the back? No idea. Maybe if/when Agents of SHIELD, Daredevil and Jessica Jones get the steelbook treatment they'll get them too (doubtful). If this had been gloss with a flat back with a decent image on it it could have been amazing. Now it's just average and that's a shame.

I may be in the minority here, but I still dig it. Glad to find out it wasn't Region B only, and Zavvi actually changed the info on their page for once. I don't want to pay $37 + S&H for it tho. Hopefully it comes down in price, or someone who receives it that doesn't want it will sell for less.

agreed - though I wouldnt be too fussed about AoS steels as those seasons are DAMN long.

but the shorter 6-14 episodes seasons, such as this, Daredevil and Jessica Jones would be well received by me on steelbook. )

have to say, I LOVE the simplicity of it, but spot gloss on Carter herself, a'la Thor HMV style would have completed this perfectly. That's the only complaint for me.
Then again, I dont have mine in hand just yet....
