I agree ! The black and the colors are far better ! All that is missing is the metallic reflections on the lamp.
I’d prefer the US version. And that would be even better with embossing. But this isn’t a bad alternative plus I don’t want to spend double on importing
But I do still need to import Dumbo at some point. The U.K. version is a huge no no
Considering that Best Buys version of the exact same steelbook is full gloss and NOT premium your comment doesnt even make sense. Premium has always been either deluxe slipcase (fullslip, half slip, lenticular or double lenti) and a selection of collateral like booklet, art cards, credit card, stickers etc etc, or/and exclusive artwork on the steel itself.
This turned up. First off it’s not as nice as people are making out. The US one is clearly the winner
but my copy has arrived with mega misaligned embossing. And what’s worse, where it’s misaligned, the glossy sides have bled over to the front and back kicking me further In the teeth that the front and back could of been glossy
I hate that. On matte steels when the edges are glossy.It’s as if the whole steel was and then the add the matte to it. Like why lol leave it glossy

I don't think I've seen one as poorly misaligned as that. That's terrible
yeah I think this is the worst I’ve seen. I’ve had a couple over the years but that’s bad
You should keep it cuz that's like a rare misprint collector's item, could be worth a fortune later on down the road! Only thing is you have to look at until then
This so much. And the inside is always glossed (unless it’s bare metal). Why are the edges and inside glossed, but the main attraction of front and back artwork? Nah, matte that **** up.
I've never seen one that bad. That's awful! And the embossing was the only thing the international version had going for it.
Sorry to bring this up but yesterday I stop by my local FYE and they had it for 10 bucks; of course I couldn’t resist lol but it’s nice, not glossy but embossed/debossed I’ll take it! Still strange they had it tho.
