I actually do think its possible but it must cost a premium or something as very few steels feature it. See steels like Green Hornet, Hunger Games D12, Righteous Kill...all embossed w/o a border, unlike WFRR which has a border albeit scaled down. So it can be done but I dont think it would look right on this steel without the traditional frame border imo.

It just depends on the artwork. If the art has some kind of a frame initially, they can take advantage of it.

Sorry I've its been said but zavvi outlet on ebay have them in stock again.

Why is everyone complaining about the boarder!? It's an EMBOSSED steelbook, of course it has a boarder! The only way they could have avoided that and had a similar effect on the title is to deboss the area with the boarder of the title logo and leave the actual title to be "embossed" (does that make sense?) I don't. Think the boarder ruins this steelbook (from pics/video).

If there is any one steelbook where the boarder almost ruined it for me it would be the original Captain America (circular shield design with a square boarder). It was my first embossed steelbook tho, so I was more accepting of the boarder once I learned that's how "embossing" is done, by debossing an much of the steelbook as possible.

It's because there's nothing else to complain about with this one and people have to find something, even something as ridiculous as the border that has appeared on 99% of embossed steelbooks ever produced.
