I agree that it doesn't make for a nice atmosphere but equally nor does bashing Zavvi in every thread. I have no issue with people making their feelings heard but when every Zavvi related thread is filled with the same comments about how Zavvi are doing this or doing that, it is rather tiresome. I think I will avoid Zavvi related threads from now on as it seems a lot of members here hold an opinion which I don't share.

No hope of Zavvi replacing this, they replied with either a partial refund or full refund on return of steelbook....

Absolute **** on Zavvis behalf, wanting to make as much money as possible via other outlets and not keeping some in reserve....

Iv read all the bad mouth comments about Zavvi here over the last few months but said nothing but now iv had enough, they do not respect their customers at all, this was only released a week ago and you would think they would keep a certain amount held back for a month or so until everyone got theirs and all damaged one replaced and they offer up the remaining for sale........

I think it's a disgrace to be honest, that they cannot replace customers damaged copies because they have sold the rest on eBay.

Zavvi print 10,000 copies and the item is still available = Zavvi are rip off merchants

It seems like they just can't win.

If it's a title I really want, I take matters into my own hands, I don't bet on the retailer having spare copies come release date.

I suggest that everyone should just ignore Blumark007's posts. I don't know if he trolling, or he really means what he says, but we should not let his comments get the best of us. I have read a lot of posts and it is straying of topic and I sense that the atmosphere is getting real hostile. I don't really pay attention to his comments and just like to read what others have to say about this steelbook, which is what we should be doing anyway.

Sorry if I don't make any sense but I am not usually so good with words.

Remember folks, you have a couple options when viewing content in the forum.

1) You can put any member on your personal ignore list. This is accessible via your profile - many people find this option to the left after they click on their pms.

2) You can also report any questionable comments from another other member makes that do not follow the "dos and don'ts" of the steelbook forum.

Easy peasy.

You mean ban someone for speaking their mind? He's not threatening anyone, or using excessive profanity. Those are offenses that are a sure-fire way to get one banned.

If he's reading these posts, he'll get the point, but we're not like some other forums - banning people left and right because they have an opinion that's not shared by other members or staff.

I just got mine

The only thing I'm not happy it's that part or my bluray collection is in steelbook and most of the films are in amaray case. So I would love to have everything in steelbook, but the lack of extras and 3D discs won't allow me to have my entire coleccion in this formal.

However I'm enjoying this release. Beautiful cover.

Usually I agree with much of your posts but not this time. I think you're mixing 2 different issues up here. This is nothing to do with print runs and availability. It's about Zavvi selling 4-500 copies on their ebay account, months after the title had sold out. As a result, held back 0 copies for possible damaged shipments/lost in the post items.
