I'm gonna tell you why you've already lost. The rabbit is on the front cover and on the spine, and I don't think anybody from Zavvi is dumb enough to put him on the back as well. At least, I hope so

It's only #16 onwards that have been confirmed as glossy. So I guess we can assume from that all the ones before then will continue to be matte.

Shame, really, as I'm sure some of these upcoming titles would look awesome glossy.

I recall Wreck saying something about the lack of gloss not being Zavvi's fault, but without actually stating the reason for it. Perhaps there has been a worldwide shortage of varnish that has been hushed up by the government??? Who knows?
