Please, can someone tell me if Zavvi charged the steelbook?

Release is on may 18th but zavvi cancelled my order on april 6th for a payment issue.

I just checked it, on this date I did have funds at my bank account and I haven´t any cancellation email from zavvi. :dunno:

I'd forgotten all about this! Have a copy on pre-order which my girlfriend was going to give to her mum for mothers day... I think it'll be a Christmas present now at this rate ;)

Or next mother's day! Lol :hilarious:

I lost count how many of those I've gotten

Ditto. You would think that they would have some way of linking this to the revised release date to stop these unnecessary emails going out. Or, at least, just the one to advise customers of the new released date (which they don't actually do! The only way I usually find out is either by looking on here or just noticing it on their website in passing!). Their system certainly doesn't seem as sophisticated as Amazon's, for example.

I would never have checked, but since this was bumped I went and searched for my order back from December only to find it was cancelled (out of the blue, no email either).

So thanks for the heads up, otherwise I probably would have missed it...

Thanks for the heads up - I had to change my credit card recently - if the old card was on the original order but no longer works - would it have cancelled my order? I didn't want to take the chance.

Normally you'd get a "payment declined" email, which gives you about a week to change your payment card on the order page. But it has happened before that they just outright cancel. Never happened to me though, I was always able to retry the card or change the payment details.
