So what this is ultimately coming down to no where is safe to buy anything. And the word exclusive is going to be like a faint memory. Its just beat for the collectors when the market is flooded with anything that will sell. Not important that someone thinks they have something unique. Turns out we are not buying snow flakes anymore with the originality. Something similar to this happened years ago by a comic publisher called "Image comics". The had limited runs but when there was a spike in demand, they reprinted everything they could get their hands on. Ultimately driving down the prices and originality. Or it's like going to a restaurant that is an awesome meal buy select people know about it, then, you're precious spot turns into a chain. The special-ness is lost (I'm bringing it to a close) so, unfortunately due to the need for more and more money, we suffer. We take the beating and there isn't anything that can be done. (sorry guys, no sleep in pain, and angry at the world)

In my opinion, at this stage when all we know is that this steelbook has the same art like the Play exclusive, this will become like the Battle LA steelbook with that slipcover. Battle LA is the same steelbook worldwide and yet the Japanese edition has become the most sought after, maybe because of the slipcover, who knows? This one will become likewise.
But I've come to the realization when something is listed as "exclusive", it means "exclusive (to this store in this country but it's up for grabs anywhere else...)"
Yep, only if they say "World Exclusive" would I trust them anymore, like what Future Shop does sometimes... but then again that wouldn't guarantee them to not re-release it a year or so down the line with the same or very similar artwork. 
That's the problem. People will moan about being a re-release unless it has a slip cover and then they'll make a mess in their pants. What we need is a release that is exactly the same that no one wants to buy to send a message that we don't want re-releases.
The Japansese releases will always be highly sought because you can't bulk buy like many do (if it is 1 per order) and the shipping along is more than the steel plus the customs... so it will deem to be rarer as its more expensive.
I am looking forward to seeing how this looks like. The Korean version was about US$80 and is absolutely OOP now. This one is about the same price but usually Jpn slips are much better....
I am surprised it took so long to sell out. The partial slip on this one is awesome. That yellow colors stands out in a good way. So much better than the U.K. one.
I kinda wish I'd picked it up when I had the chance, but there were no in-hand pics for quite a while and the price was a turn-off when compared to the UK one. I agree the slip is nice.

Managed to get this while the price was down to about 3,500 Yen. I was shocked tbh but now I know why. They're trying to sell the remaining stock.
I think most of those are my listings.
