This may well be my first one click and then I'll have to do the same for the others when they release them.

Well played FA, well played

hmm....6 Alien Boxsets at the end...that will look impressive (especially on my bank account :shy:). But have to think about it. OC Looks really good to be honest,

I prefer FA's steelbook to Manta's (as previously mentioned), but as far as the slips are concerned I pretty much like/dislike them equally... some look great, others not so much -- I mostly have issues with the backs (applies to both retailers). I'll be passing on them all anyway and will probably just pick up the WWA steel, simply because I can't afford to buy premium editions for each film.

I really wonder which artworks would impress you? Those are awesome choices, much better than Manta lenti B for example....
would prefer when they would use the original scream poster on the back side of E1

the more I see E3 the more I like it. Great front artwork and the best gimmicks

Edition 3, what does 3D full slip mean?

The lenticular print has a 3D effect, instead of a flip flop effect. Usually if it's a regular full slip, they will include a lenticular magnet. Notice Edition 3 does not include one. I assume they just forgot to include the word "lenticular" after "3D".

Oh right. I didn't realise it was another lenticular (as you said, because it wasn't mentioned in the description! :giggle: )

I thought it might be some new fancy finishing they were using on their full slips! :(

You give FilmArena too much credit if you think they could invent a new 3D full slip!!

Filmarena updated the description:
FULLSLIP 3D EMBOSSED Edition 3

I guess this means the slip will have quite a substantial amount of embossing.
The guy who runs the FAC GBs in the German forum also stated FA will try something new with this slip.

I read "fullslip 3d", and after reading your information, I think they could try to make a fullslip with reliefs and under-reliefs, and also the textures that they use.

If it is not lenticular, this would be the only option:cautious:

I like FA's steelbook so i'm thinking of picking up E5, as long as price is not crazy high. I think it matches the anthology 'facehugger' steelbook.
I also love ML's steelbook so i want that steelbook alone. I'm not too impressed with the slips from either retailers. However, FA's E3 has potential so i'll wait and see what this new thing they are trying...

As for the E3 embossed 3D edition, may be FA is finally attempting an embossed lenti? Aside from a few lenti slipcovers from North America, i dont think any premium retailer tried this (correct me if i'm wrong)

Hmmmm.........I thought it sounded strange alright. So I WAS onto something!

That would be the edition I'd have gone for. Will see what the pricing is later. Might consider going for that. My interest has been peaked!!

I sincerely hope it's not an embossed lenti, but now that you mentioned it, that could be it.
I'd be more than content with a regular full slip and some serious all-around embossing.

Hopefully FA don't take too long to reveal what they actually mean with that term! :coffee:
