I though the same about the front image looking a little photoshopped when it was first announced, but I like the image and there is a very good chance that once the artwork is printed on a steelbook the main image will blend into to the background colours much better.. there is a chance that it actually looks worse in hand (more photoshopped) but I'm going with the idea that it'll look much better once printed:oohyeah:

So they shared the print run. Isn't that what goes on with almost all steelbooks anyway? There are always print runs in other countries with prices 2 times the ones at zavvi. I dont see how this could mean zavvi will be selling them for under 7.99 pounds. I sure as heck dont expect Kimchi or Nova to sell them for less as they will have no trouble shifting their stock for full price.

If for some reason zavv ended up getting more and selling them for under 8 pounds I will be backing up the truck because this steelbook belongs inside the full slip that just got released. A perfect combo.

Whats even more funny is watching people panic selling. I love it. lganz has been trying to get people to do it for the last few years now. There is a reason why he wants you to sell.

Not that any of this applies to Aliens Steelbooks they always sell out
This will most likely come back in stock on or after release date due to cancellations but will still end up sold out

Don't look at a steelbook as a financial investment that's not the purpose of any of them
It's re sellers that like to make you believe they are and to keep prices high as in hype the price and prey on collectors to pay the high prices so others will also do so
It's something to have in your collection to open and enjoy and either keep or replace with next version that catches your eye
Some will keep some will sell

Yep. Steelbooks are for pleasure not investment. (If I want to invest in something, I wouldn't deal in something that is, for all intents and purposes, fiddling small change).
Look at all the steelbooks that were an "it" steelbook for awhile, and now go for peanuts.

I agree. It's akin to turning bank robber and taking all the risks of being caught, shot, imprisoned for long periods for a few thousand - when really it's only worth it if you turn over The Bank of England, or whatever.
I know the motto these days is "small is beautiful" - but not if you want to make serious money :)

As for @blu-steel - he was on a roll, but pulled out before he got the the real point. Please continue . . . .
