If you order one steelbook, then yes, it's cheaper. However, if you order 2 or more, amazon.co.jp is cheaper due to the low yen-rate atm.

If you do, you should go with hmv.co.jp, works out to be about $8 cheaper shipped to the states then Amazon.co.jp. They have better packaging then Amazon, but a little slower shipping.

It has a very small chance of being a G1 steelbook. If it is, there will be a great uproar among collectors for such a beautiful piece of steelbook especially since it will have a worldwide exclusive artwork.

Amazon.co.jp says so, but at hmv.co.jp i can't find the region info or i'm blind.
What is wrong with the amazon.co.jp packaging? I haven't ordered there so far.

oh, tempting steelbook here. Looks great and classy for such a great film. Seeing as I don't have this on blu-ray yet, might as well buy the steel while I am at it.

@andes - regarding shipping from Amazon.co.jp packaging, there have been a number of members who receive the packages looking like they have been through the ringer. Sometimes the steels get damaged in transit. I ordered The Dark Knight and Seven over a year ago, and I was fortunate shipping to the US everything came in ok, but it was shipped in a bubble envelope. So just be a little cautious.

Maybe i should order 4 steels or more that they are forced to use a box packaging like amazonUK or germany. The shipping costs wouldn't be also such a pain. Mainly because of the Vendetta steel (seems to be sold out at hmv) and this one.

Good luck, I've had nothing but bad experiences with Amazon.co.jp, their packaging coupled with using dhl, it was a lose lose situation for me.
