Really annoyed - the price dropped on YA so I placed a new order at the lower price, tried to cancel my original order, only to find out they out and out refuse to cancel orders OR ACCEPT RETURNS for a refund once an order has been placed. Such a pain - I've got two of these and District 9 coming now! Oh well, onto eBay they go...

Tell me about it, found out this to my cost Yesterday. As soon as you click pay now, that's it, no going back.
Think I'll suggest a re-branding to "NoAsia"

It is rdiculous. For a UK retailer I'm sure it would be illegal (think anyone has the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days), but I guess being an international retailer based in Hong Kong or wherever, those rules don't apply.
Hope I can make my money back on eBay...

I tried to figure out how to order through Amazon Japan (and I know that I can't order through HMV to the U.S.), but the translation isn't a lot of help and I don't know how to register to the site. This is one of my favorite movies and I would love to get this steelbook!!!

bart, are you using the Chrome browser? If not, switch now and when prompted, select always to let the browser automatically translate from japanese to english. It will take some time for the translator to kick in depending on your connection and yes, it is always better to use the browser on a PC/Mac desktop or laptop. Too cryptic on the phone. Once translated, it will look a lot like Amazon.com site in terms of where things are laid out on the screen. Here is the link to register on Amazon JP. Keep plugging away and you will get the hang of it in no time

Did I miss something? I ordered "The Goonies" from HMV.jp and it arrived in New York today.
Apparently, I have to pay more attention to website capabilities. I was under the (mistaken) impression that I wasn't able to order from HMV in the U.S. - Thanks for the correction Punkin
