At least that's what you told her.I just thought it was some weird concept haha makes sense now and will probably look better holding it in hand.
I'm done waiting on the UK to get this, so count me in! Got my eye on a few other BB steels as well.just FYI, I do have extras ordered but we're waiting to have them in hand and go from there. If everything arrives in fine shape I won't need to worry about returns and can add some to the group buy.
It’s one of those films that is really good (at least I think it is), but a lot of people miss the message and like it for the wrong reasons. You know, I was impressed by this movie… but it is one of the most disturbing films I’ve ever seen.
But what I find more disturbing is how some men seem to have a fetishistic appreciation for this movie like it’s an aspiration. Pretty sure that’s not what the filmmaker (a woman, mind you) intended.
However, I wonder if I should revisit it on 4K or not. Good movie.
For example, I met a guy at SXSW once, who had an American Psycho themed business card. He proclaimed it his favorite film and said he’d seen it dozens of times.
I didn’t want to be around that guy afterwards.

Those people are somewhat ironic, at least in terms of the social commentary intended by the book (which is far better than the movie, even though the movie is good). You know, I was impressed by this movie… but it is one of the most disturbing films I’ve ever seen.

That may seem disturbing, but there's just a lot of nuanced feelings this movie tends to, makes people associate with, or just like. But surely, out of 100 that only vent or dream through it, there might be 1 that acts it out. It might not be as successful or surreal for him, but it won't matter to you, if you're hacked with a saw or a hatchet. For example, I met a guy at SXSW once, who had an American Psycho themed business card.
