I dont get why they would choose a black and white design for this movie especially with such great entries.

Its not a bad art but it dosent fit the movie that well imo.

It has red too! :p

To be fair, most of the different amaray artworks don't have much colour to them either... a lot of white and black in there. Personally I think those colours work great together though, especially with a hint of red thrown in.

Personally I'm just happy to have one of my favorite movies represented in Steelbook form. Sure the artwork chosen could've been something more creative, and the mouth thing is a bit weird but im optimistic that the final product might turn out to be something decent.

Like many have pointed out, it seems like whenever we get concept art of a steelbook that appears white, the final result ends up being metallic silver. (The Place Beyond The Pines comes to mind) I'm curious now, other than the Asian Dark Knight trilogy steelbooks, are there many white colored steelbooks?

Couple come to mind: Rare Exports DE, World War Z-ES(UK), Big Hero 6 (Blufans), Fast & Furious 6 (Walmart).....

I am not satisfied with this artwork. But I will buy it. Waited so long of this great movie in a steelbook!

I have the following in hand : The Raid (DE), WWZ (Entertainment Store/Paramount), Ted (UK/Universal), Despicable Me 2 (Zavvi/Universal), American Graffiti (Zavvi/Universal), Ex_Machina (WWA/Universal), The Graduate (Zavvi/StudioCanal), Clerks (Zavvi/Lionsgate), Star Trek (FR/Paramount), My Name is Nobody (FR/StudioCanal), The Expendables (FR/Metropolitan), The Expendables 2 (FR/Metropolitan), The Expendables 3 (FR/Metropolitan), The Dollar Trilogy (FR/MGM), The Wolverine (FR/Fox), Trancendance (FR/M6), Casse-tête chinois (FR/StudioCanal): they're all white!

I don't favor the colored ones myself, it's all white or nothing with me :) (context, folks)

Anyway, with competitions like these, the ultimate pick could have been much worse, I'm okay with this.

so after all that, that's what it's going to be? think I'm just going to stick with my AUS amaray. Underwhelming is the kindest thing I can say about it

On the fence on this one. Like the back art, simplistic. But I'm not too sure of the front art, looks a bit too "pop art" wave to me.

Ummm not sure, not the best choice in my opinion, but far from the worse.

I'll sleep on it and see![emoji4]
So after sleeping on it, I've got to say ....... I'm not too impressed with this artwork, they could of really picked a better one than that.

Hoping for another version of this from someone else
