I want a scratch and sniff magnet on the front that when scratched, smells of rich mahogany :)

On second thoughts...nah...Im passing on this one...

......... I immediately regret this decision!

Everyone keeps saying how Zavvi are ruining Steelbook collecting (reading your post, I thought this was what you were inferring) when Play.com were the ones that started the whole thing and actually released more Steelbooks than Zavvi.

We're only six months into 2013 though and already Zavvi are only 10 behind the number Play released in 2012. At the rate they're going they are well on track to surpass Play already this year.

Bring them on. The more steelbooks, the better. I would love to have my whole bluray collection in steelbook form.

Not necessarily. We effectively have a full calendar up until October. That leaves November and December. The numbers I posted include all released and upcoming Zavvi exclusives, even ones without release dates. That means Zavvi still have to schedule:

Anchorman
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
The Italian Job (likely to be released in 2014 according to Wreck)
Jackie Brown
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Plus ten more new titles to beat Play.com's total from last year. It's certainly possible but not guaranteed.

That wasn't my point anyway. The point is that a lot of comments are suggesting Zavvi are ruining Steelbook collecting when in reality that haven't done a great deal differently to Play.com. A handful of new releases, a few re-releases and a tonne of catalogue titles. The only criticism they deserve is on price, then again if it means they won't have the same fate as Play.com, then I would rather pay the extra.

On topic: I'll definitely be buying this barring any major balls up with the artwork. This was one which a lot of people have asked for, so it's good to see Zavvi listening.

Glad to see this one coming, I wondered when the other titles from the poll were going to show up :)

Nice work buddy look like someone at Zavvi is taking notice.;)

Awesome movie but I'm so bored of this now. There's no feeling of exclusivity anymore.

Don't understand fellow steelbook collector's moaning about steelbooks being released.
Most Zavvi exclusives haven't had a steelbook release yet and are limit to 4k how exclusive does it have to be.:dunno:

They can keep em coming imo, if it's a good film and Zavvi release it as a steelbook I'll buy it knowing I'm probably 1 of only 4000 people who owns a steelbook of that film.:scat:

but you also have to keep in mind that we had a slow startup and there probably more announcements will come.

there were only 2 zavvi exclusives until june. so nearly all these releases are coming in the next 6month's and i bet there are a lot more in the coming, so at the end we will see about 60-70 steels in 6months june-dec thats a ratio of 10+ steels per month.
