another issue is that...even with G2 machine...are the studio going to release them in steelbook for USA folks? They haven't done so much even with G1 steelbook.

I won't get too excited until I see them for high box office movies release.... We didn't get it for Thor, Captain America, Transformers, etc...

Well the staff at this site has provided dozens of opportunities for our community to be vocal about their excitement about more USA Steels, which has been passed on to actual decision makers at every turn. The right people are watching and hopefully this will translate into more 'opportunity' to enjoy G2 Steels in the USA. I will sit breathless to see what the studios are 'willing' to cook up for us. Rome was not built in one day-but this is a BIG step forward for the USA collector community...

This is a great discussion IMO. And I am in total agreement here. I want to see a worldwide exclusive of an US steelbook much like Germany's Warrior steelbook. I can think of several titles most appropriate for a late summer release from the new US G2 line - Act of Valor, Hunger Games, The Lorax, Titanic 3D, Safe House, Wrath of the Titans just to name a few.

It's exciting to think about it isn't it? Just the though of being able to get a steelbook in store is a nice thought. Safe House would be an excellent choice by the way. Haven't seen it, but that seems like a film I would blind buy.
