In South Africa some training institutes offer to do ninja practice. You said that you stayed in the city of South Africa called Johannesburg. In this large city an academy called Ninja Warrior Academy is present. You can learn and can do practice in this academy.

Live outside of Johannesburg in the suburbs though but work in the city.

And yes, Definitely District 9 area (Although the city does not look anywhere near as bad as the movie made it out to be). Dredd was shot in Cape Town though. But definitely Avengers: Age of Ultron territory)

I have rugby toured Cape Town and Johannasburg, was very nice experience. Watched some Super rugby.

One of the highlight of my life so far.
