Collectors: Can go crazy with multiples, or tons of steels of the same movie etc. Also will seek out or trade for rare ones they missed out on.

Selectors: Most have or want to own only select steelbooks that they see

So which one are you?

Selector(s): That there is trademarked, not to be used without written permission of Ricky Bobby, Inc. :hilarious:

I'm an extremelty selective collector, I only have about 30 steelbooks (max) at any one time, usually I have 20 on display and if I don't have room for it, I either don't buy it in the first place or I sell it If I have.

I have started to get selective and its hard with all the new releases. Think I made one big mistake not getting the Disney. I've ordered the T2 from Korea that led me to order Dredd from Japan. Now i've started I want the Batman's from Japan. I will have to sacrifice a lot of the UK steels but i'm finding it hard but am loving it, loving it.

Definitely a collector! I can safely say that I go out of my way to collect anything SteelBook (except PC games), so long as it's from my country. Even if I already have a film in SteelBook form, I will still buy a re-release or re-issue, provided there's a significant difference between the print runs (such as the recently released Star Trek XI that has the same artwork as the PLAY.com release from last year)

I will also go out of my way to plug the gaps in my collection, even if it means resorting to eBay and paying 5x the RRP to obtain the few SteelBooks that I occasionally miss

Selector.

I have maybe 1 steel in my collection with a mediocre movie because the steel was too cool. Rest I bought because I love the film and wanted a special edition to go with it to "appreciate" the film more. :)

I'm kinda in between.. I own 3 Dark Knight Rises, 4 Amazing Spider-Man's, a few double dips and 18 copies of Prometheus..

The rest of the ~200 I own are singles :)

Selector. Dont see the point in owning a collectible version of a movie i dont even like... I only buy movies i like. Unfortunately for me I like A LOT of movies = )

selector for sure

I only bother with Steelbook versions if its a movie I'm wanting to buy anyway.
I dont ever keep multiples or sealed copies. ALL of mine get open and used (and stored in protective sleeves mind)
