I had a small slash over the "G" as well but at the end of the day I can live with it. As long as there's no dents (my biggest pet peeve) it's not worth exchanging for me but to each his own.

PS Mine came in a small box too but it's still better than those oversized grey enveloppes.

You in a GB right? You should be fine. They're always inspected closely b4 being sent out. It could be just a bad early batch from the warehouse. Btw it's on the spine not the cover. Then I would have been really pissed

Anyway, yes, the boxes are much better, but without padding a single steelbook can slam up and down during transport.

Yeah, I'm not fond of slashed box cutter steelbooks.

Received mine in a small box today as well which I also prefer over the envelope mailers but a little bubblewrap would go a long way to ensuring a safe arrival.

The one thing I am concerned about is what appears to be a security tab or a lot of glue under the UPC. Shanester, since you opened yours you can probably clear up this mystery. If I keep my Argo SB sealed I am worried about an impression being left over time such as was reported previously by another member regarding other FS Steelbooks (but I can't find the thread).

Mine didn't have any of that gooey glue on the packing slip so it should be ok left sealed long term

I think most steelbooks weigh about 5 or 6 ounces b4 packaging. Maybe someone with more info could confirm
