I have always gone by the rule of thumb that if the steelbook release (in any country) is less than 6 months then your still not safe of it being done elsewhere. Many Countries have diff dates on many things be it either home media release or theatrical.

Example: Django unchained went to theaters opening day in Vietnam only 1 week before the street date of the blu-ray here in the USA.

Hoping this will be the extended cut.

Based on real events, the dramatic thriller "Argo" chronicles the life-or-death covert operation to rescue six Americans, which unfolded behind the scenes of the Iran hostage crisis, focusing on the little-known role that the CIA and Hollywood played - information that was not declassified until many years after the event. On November 4, 1979, as the Iranian revolution reaches its boiling point, militants storm the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage. But, in the midst of the chaos, six Americans manage to slip away and find refuge in the home of Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor. Knowing it is only a matter of time before the six are found out and likely killed, the Canadian and American governments ask the CIA to intervene. The CIA turns to their top "exfiltration" specialist, Tony Mendez, to come up with a plan to get the six Americans safely out of the country. A plan so incredible, it could only happen in the movies.

Me to mate I stopped buying from eBay a while a go. FS and BB are both big company's but don't ship internationally ?? These companys need to learn from zavvi who do the job for only .99 pence shipped abroad. It would save us all a few quid if only!

Hence the group buys, which I for one am very thankful for...........still buying the UK version even though I have the FS release.

Bring it on Zavvi.........I'll order one a day if u want!!!!:ninja:

Definite purchase for me.

I've always been a fan of Zavvi, and whilst they aren't perfect they are learning. And boy do they deserve credit for all of these awesome releases they are bringing our way, hopefully more people will start go give Zavvi the credit they deserve.

Sorry, you are too late zavvi, because my FS copy from Drum GB is on the way. So you will not get my money, even if this release will be embossed, I don't care about this. I will interest this one only then when artwork will be different from canadian edition :p

I'm pretty sure Wreck deserves most if not all the credit that ZAVVI gets as he sorted out the packaging and the better quality of steels....top man,top dog

I simply help where asked and needed. And put in my 2 cents for the good of the steelbook colllector community. They deserve the credit as more times then not they listen.

These 2 titles however snuck up on me.
