It is getting a bit crazy with all the Zavvi exclusives (especially June). But They arent all going to sell out before release day right? Just have to be patient a get them when your bank account is looking in good shape. Especially this release. I see it being around for a while and maybe even getting a price drop. So ill hold out til then if i still want it at that time. I already have the FS one and it looks great.

And if you havnt noticed, most of the June releases that are getting everyone riled up are by Warner. June seems to be their "steel campaign" month as they have a ton of steels coming out in the US, UK, CA, JP through multiple retailers. And we all know they are the notorious re-release studio so you cant blame Zavvi or any other retailer for the June release dates or titles being released imo. So yeah prioritize and remember Warner steels do not regularly fly off the shelves as they tend too print massive amounts. I dont think this or Town has been confirmed as 4000 correct?

PS. I would pre-order The Town "just because" of all the hype over the FS version and it possibly trumping it in design and features ;)

So is there any point collecting FS steelbooks any more?

Not complaining, just asking.

Can't say that but maybe applicable to Warner Steelbooks.

35 to import and end up with an inferior version that is not embossed and only has the theatrical cut.

15 for us in the UK and 16 to importers for the Zavvi Embossed Steelbook which will feature both cuts.

Importers should thank the UK folks who are paying the subsidy cost that enables Zavvi to offer 99p postage.

Going forward I am going to turn a blind eye on Warner Steelbooks released outside the UK.

It's a waste of time buying anything Warner for any more than what a Steelbook normally retails for in your country. That means it's pointless to get FS exclusives and pointless to get Asian titles (unless you collect for the slipcovers). Warner have proven that they will re-release anything without warning and without a thought for collectors :(
