The Criterion lazerdisc looks great and it's basically the same thing.

Second that. Shuttle looks a little out of place imo.

I find myself in a predicament, whilst i do not think the artwork for this october wave is looking too good, i literally own non of these on blu ray. So then im ordering them as they are well priced compared to the amaray lol.

They weren't removed, if you look closely its a data sheet cover that covers the back and some of the front lol

They have been this is the original pic without the data sheet

And yes I do believe Play have been watching

Theyve even removed it off the one with the data sheet now

The previous release was the theatrical cut because Criterion hold the rights to the Director's Cut

if you look at the 2 disc DVD, you'll see Criterions name on the spine as well. they had an exclusive thing a while back and we got UK Criterion discs of Armageddon, The Rock and Chasing Amy

i did have this on pre-order but decided to cancel because it's not a piority for me to be honest. I've got the US BD. hoping Criterion release a BD version of the director's cut with special features

Yeah, I would totally skip this if there was word on a criterion edition. Same goes for "the rock". I'm obsessed with criterion now
