This Steel drives me nuts!!! Zavvi canceled mine because I've pre-ordered it back then with Paypal and they can´t change the payment on an order this happened to all my paypal pre-orders. Custom friendly in 2014

I have a strange feeling this will show up back in stock with an increased print next month. Nothing surprises me with Zavvi anymore.

so instead of honouring those who need replacements, they are selling those steels at a convention. how lovely.

between this and the maleficient shadiness from zavvi they are building quite the reputation around here

at the end of the day, consumers have rights. i think you mistake anger those rights arent being honoured for perceived sense of entitlement.

im sure zavvi have a policy to replace any damaged items, providing they have the stock. they are claiming they dont have the stock, when quite clearly they do. im aware a number of units are set aside exclusively for this purpose- to replace damaged items. what happened to them?

it would seem zavvi are ignoring customers wanting replacements and instead selling the stock at a convention.

Today i informed Trading Standards about Zavvi...and in particular amongst many things this case...people receiving damaged steelbooks...proving the damage, asking for and being told sorry we have NO replacements!!....then lo and behold Zavvi have a stackful at a f***ing convention!!

The clock is ticking Zavvi!!!

I await a response from snooloui too....THE GREAT AND MYSTICAL DEFENDER OF ZAVVI....come forth!!

Seriously, tho - the day UK officially starts taking consumer & workers rights as being at least equal to those of employers, is the day when about 30,000 employers go out of business and we plunge into worse than Recession LOL … these rouge traders have their entire business models based upon deceiving consumers and paying their employees a slave wage. This is nothing new and Zavvi are small fry! - if u don’t like how they operate start looking towards the top, not the bottom lol. A good start wld be to ensure those lying cheating rich-boy Tory scum don’t get back in power this coming election

Cool! Didn't know AoD had a Book of the Dead release too. Where is that one from? I had the first one but never got around to picking up 2. Sold 1 and it paid for the Ultimate DVD 3 disc and the steel. I picked up ED2 steel when some came back in stock at zavvi like the day before AoD was announced/up for preorder.

Did Army ever come back in stock at Zavvi? I thought steelbooks for cancellations usually went up around release day, AOD strangely did not, I hope this is not a new trend of Zavvi's.

Glad I managed to get a copy and I have one that is mint with the seal off, one of my favorite steelbooks this year for certain.

I never saw any cancellations come up. Gutted to have missed out on this, I've been holding off getting this via ebay in hope Zavvi would sort out their site.

Looks like the first 2 are DVD and the Army Of Darkness is both Blu Ray and DVD.

It would depend on how many cancellations there was if the cancellation was small amount they might not have ended back available as this did sell very fast when it originally went live

It was a highly wanted release and only 2000 print run it was a very fast sell out

If there was still a lot of stock it would have appeared by now or they did not get all of the stock from StudioCanal due to some mistake did not supply all the stock and its possible they are awaiting this stock and was reason for release date change

It might simply be this its really sold out
