Hrm? Looks like a Inkblot Rorschach Test to me.
No, it's a blind buy for me. I hope the movie is good.Have you seen the movie? It would make sense if you did, no spoilers.

What is your source @virkia?
Steelbook Pro & Film Arena which I was thinking is WWA .. . not images of the French edition but of the Film Arena edition as the French edition has PREMIER CONTACT printed on the spine.What is your source @virkia?
It's still a eOne release in the UK but home media distribution of eOne home media from Feburary 2016 is now through Fox.If this ends up being brushed steel with a spot glossed black blob, it will look horrendous!
eOne's previous UK steelbooks have been pretty decent though.
The two tone version is better - IF it retains the correct title. (France's PREMIERE CONTACT....)Fox or eOne . . . the point being made is that it's s different distributor in the U.K. so the chances are that the updated Zavvi mock-up (which I hadn't seen before I posted the pics of what I took to be the International steelbook) could mean that there will be two steelbook designs for ARRIVAL:-
"WHITE": U.K. . . .
TWO TONE: Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Czechoslovakia, France . . .
Simple but effective. I love it!Zavvi has just updated the artwork:

The fact that it's not just plain white, but has a kind of gradient shading to it, makes me think it's not going to end up being bare metal. We'll see...Praying it's actually white and not metallic/bare metal though.
