The movie's very good and has a beautiful message. If this steelbook gets a proper finish, it'll be a winner.
Doesn't look quite right with the spine the way it is without the studio logo.
That being said, the U.K. steelbook is apparently distributed by Fox . . . with the rest of Europe and Asia distributed by Sony Universal . . . so WEA for the U.K. is a possibility.
No steelbook yet for The Americas that I can see where the film is distributed by Paramount with maybe a third steelbook design . . .

Those are pics he pulled from steelbookpro site, they're for the French edition.
I think I'll get this one, I just can't bring myself to get the FAC edition with a giant vagina on the slip. It would be just too unsettling to have to pull that off the shelf and someone say "What the **** is that?".
I agree though, the FAC is an easy pass, two thumbs way way down.
Steelbook Pro & Film Arena which I was thinking is WWA .. . not images of the French edition but of the Film Arena edition as the French edition has PREMIER CONTACT printed on the spine.
So, what is the meaning of those logograms?

It's still a eOne release in the UK but home media distribution of eOne home media from Feburary 2016 is now through Fox.
Fox will manage sales and distribution services on DVD and Blu-ray on behalf of eOne for film, television and family home entertainment titles in the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Australia

Fox or eOne . . . the point being made is that it's s different distributor in the U.K. so the chances are that the updated Zavvi mock-up (which I hadn't seen before I posted the pics of what I took to be the International steelbook) could mean that there will be two steelbook designs for ARRIVAL:-

Simple but effective. I love it!
Praying it's actually white and not metallic/bare metal though.
The fact that it's not just plain white, but has a kind of gradient shading to it, makes me think it's not going to end up being bare metal. We'll see...Praying it's actually white and not metallic/bare metal though.
Problem is - I don't think the symbol on the Zavvi is even one from the movie...It looks like a coffee cup stain.
