Ask Me Anything - Scottish Ninja

It won't be a smooth transition it will be a disaster. But the polls are luckily showing in favour of NO, thankfully. Everyone I know is definitely voting to save the Union.

What's your favorite Scottish whisky?

Mine is: Ardbeg Uigeadail
And the Airigh Nam Beast but it's too expensive ;-)

I've not tried the ones you've mentioned, but I'll keep an eye out for them next time I'm in a pub with a good whiskey selection!

My favourite is the Oban 14 year old single malt. It's got a smooth finish, and is quite mild overall, so is a good whiskey to recommend to people who would not normally drink it.

I've also tried it in a cocktail called "the fisherman": Equal parts Kahula, Cointreau & whiskey. Potent stuff! :smashed:

Haha, I'm the same with dried clothes. I cant stand folding them neatly and putting them away. I prefer to leave them lieing in my spareroom which I treat like a giant closet! :woot:

Been to Lochness a few times, drove from there to Oban and the scenery was amazing

I've never been to Scotland...Or even north of Watford EEK!

Really? Not even a little curious of whats north of London?

No, not too bothered by it all. Maybe if it wasn't so soon after the Olympics it would have felt more of a big deal. That's probably a bad thing to say, as they have been held here in years!
Are you catching any events?

No it's not my thing lol

Seems to me causing so many problems in Glasgow, people in surrounding areas being treated badly, curfews? Fences? Told to keep it down in their nearby homes to the althetes village,
Craziness

That's just daft, there's no point having it in Glasgow if they are just going to dissuade the locals from welcoming it.

Who are fave musicians from your country?

My favourite band is Biffy Clyro (my username is the title of one of their songs)
It's been great seeing a band that no one had heard of, going from strength to strength until they are headlining festivals.
I mostly listen to guitar led bands, which there is a lot of in Scotland. Frightened Rabbit, Woodenbox & a fistful of fivers, Twin Atlantic, Sons & Daughters... Stuff like that!
