Hey Jericho, what kind of shipping material was used?

It was a small USPS box (even had Atlas Shrugged stamped on the back), not really any interior protection

My 2 copies arrived in Spain today, with a 40 euros customs charge.
Add that to the 59,99 USD price tag and thats a very expensive steelbook!

i was afraid of your description of the packaging and feared the worst... here's mine - via DHL international.

1st image: bubble wrap ABOVE the Steelbook.

2nd image: Steelbook inside WITHOUT any bubble wrap.

3rd image: No bubblewrap underneath the Steelbook.

4th - 6th images: the Damage

not sure if they will replace international orders. i really wished they just bubbled wrapped the entire steel. in fact the Steelbook would have fit very nicely into the bubblewrap that came with the packaging. sigh.

edit: and this was after Jim Jenness swore to me via email that it would be adequately packed. very disappointed considering I received this on Christmas Day.

WOW, that is bad Basis. Sorry it did not arrive for you in mint condition. I feel awful saying mine was in just the cardboard box, but it was mint. I am sure for the price you paid, once they see the pics, they will replace.

It does disappoint. I will say that I did contact them and they have reshipped a Steelbook to me. Hopefully it will be the same for all orders, no matter the destination.

So I am taking it that they have done a "Le Grand Bleu" on us and dispensed with the shrinkwrap. All ship in the bare metal, is this right ? I have yet to receive mine as it has gone to my US forwarder first.

Mine arrived with no bubble wrap what so ever. No shrink wrap either. But, miraculously, no dents.
Glad everyone who recieved damaged ones is getting replacements.

Mine showed up in 12/24 in a USPS Priority Mail box that just fit the DVD Case. No packing at all. The shipping box appeared okay but the steelbook had a small dent on each side in the same area near the spine. I have contacted Atlas and got an email telling me to send it back for a new one.

I got 2. No shrink wrap, (tho expected) no bubble wrap ... however besides a faint scratch both look ok. One will be given away here soon enough.

Got mine last week, I better open it up and check. It was just shipped in a small Priority Mailer.

I'm really unhappy right now. I purchased two of these at $29.95 each
I only recieved one and paid 16.80 charges for $119.80 which is the amount I would have paid if I purchased 4. Did anyone else have this happen to them? I'm so mad about it. Grrrr

Received my replacement today! It was shipped in an envelope with bubble wrap inside surrounding the steelbook. It made the trip without dents!

Watched the movie, I actually enjoyed it and will def buy the next. Honestly I was surprised if whether I would like it, but I typically enjoy stuff with suspense. Now who the hell is John Galt! haha.
