According to a German user MM System shows a listing for a Avatar 3D Steelbook (Media Markt exclusive)
Release Date: 31.12.2012 (looks like a Placeholder Date to me)

All the new 3D MM exclusive SBs seem to have that magnetic Lenticular part (Titanic, I Robot, Ice age 4 and Avatar!)
I am really INTERESTED to see how that will look like
And if it will stay in "shape" when on shelves!

this movie is visually spectacular but the story is basic and has been done a thousand times, so unless this is 3D there is no intrest, plus the art work looks the same
