Is the 2009 film on Disney+ the "remaster" that went out on cinemas ahead of the sequel being released?
Yes it's the 2022 remastered version
HD and 4K streams available
4K TV 's you can view in Dolby Vision or HDR 10 if your TV does not support Dolby Vision
Nice. Didn't Cameron tinker a little with some of the effects? Not majorly (cos it looks great) but just a lick of paint as it were?

I get that but why the delay between the standard Amaray release and the Steelbook? it's bizzare.
The best way to have people buy the movie twice. The amaray because they need to watch it ASAP. Then the steelbook for collecting purposes.
Then the 4k Extended version and the 4k Extended steelbook 3 months later.
The 3D disc has been out for over 10 years, and there's already been a 3D steel. The 4K and remastered blu-ray are brand new, so it makes complete sense.
