Thanks for the video vdevil. It looks like the debossing is very unique with that border going only up to the left slope of the A and not all around. This is also super glossy which is outstanding. I hope this is the same steelbook for the other countries too. I love that spine art with the various faces of the superheroes.

Does this one come with a slipcover?

Those menus are simply amazing, and the steelbook is a beauty, can't wait to get one of these bad boys in hand and on display with the rest of The Avengers steelbooks.

I have decided to get the following:

1) Singapore (3D/2D - VMB): for the full slip
2) Singapore (2D - Steelbook): for the J-Card Slip
3) Taiwan (3D/2D - ??): for being from Taiwan as I love the Taiwanese slips
4) Canada/FS (3D/2D VMB): well for being from FS hehe
5) Germany (3D/2D/Bonus Disc - Steelbook): for the bonus disc (hopefully it will come with 1)
6) UK/HMV (2D - Steelbook): everything else is for display and to kep sealed, this one is cheaply acquired and will be used for viewing pleasure

Same here. It looks inferior to Captain America, Iron Man & Thor.

I think they should have had a group shot of the avengers on the back.

Japan should come out with one and have a booklet attatched to the back like Jaws with better art.

No buddy, it is not confirmed. I wish they release a nice colorful art instead of this one which looks miles behind the other Avengers Steels.

The complete black finish is going to be troublesome for few if the backing card has the sticky glues. Also it is easy to spot imperfections on a pure black glossy Steelbook.

The back cover art of this steelbook is the same as the back cover art of the Viva Metal Box. My gut feeling is that there will be future releases with "improved" art.

I think that since this is such a huge movie there will be plenty of editons of this and possible there could be another steelbook and/or VMB somewhere down the road.
