Another horrible lenticular from zavvi/Disney/Marvel.
You got any pics of the inside and back artwork?
I agree, we have to remember they don't specialise in making edition for us serious collectors who have high expectations for their collections, to them its just simply repackaging it differently to sell it to the ordinary public, its not Plain Archive or Meta Lab.Are people forgetting that whatever the artwork or lenti that is provided with these steelbooks, it is NOT a 'craft' of sorts to Zavvi, The Hut group or their associated businesses like it is to Manta or FA for example. Zavvi are a former high street retailer. They churn out anything and everything. They aren't a 'steelbook specific' business. It is not their selling point. Whoever approves the artwork for their steelbooks likely sees it as 'just another day' or 'business as usual' and aren't going to change the way these steels are manufactured (through the companies they deal with) or how they are presented to us, they are what they are. Yes they aren't very good at what they do with steels because we all demand perfection but how a lenti doesn't line up with the main image of the steel for example isn't a big deal to them and they wouldn't listen to us like Manta does. The way they trade goods and services is a whole different ballgame.
These steels might be overpriced to you when you see the end result but once again, it is not a 'craft' to them and they don't spend precious hours getting things to look right or presenting us with the latest image of the progression of the steelbook or the advertising of a fullslip compared to a lenti etc etc. They are just simple, everyday bog standard releases (like other blurays and dvds) and most of them are pretty decent for what our expectations are always going to be.
Surely you can be thankful the option is there to buy from them worldwide, because it is just that... an option.
Pretty much all of the lenticular's in this wave have had scaling issues if I'm not mistaken?

Jeez Louise, short succinct replies really aren't your thing are they.

I took the lenticular magnet off the front of mine and the front of the steelbook looks so much better with out it.
So are they worth the money you pay ?
