Wow these turned out really nice, combination of spot gloss and full gloss with embossing on the title
Even with 19% Vat added ordering Zavvi works out a lot cheaper than using GB for USA releasesGot both US versions of them via the GB. Even with the additional HDN, US sales tax and German custom fees it was still cheaper. And faster. Zavvi takes around 3-4 weeks.
Group Buy cost for both Best Buy steelbooks before shipping is €71.06
Shipping cost with GB is extra €25.61
Total cost for using GB and shipping 2 steelbooks is €97.57 and that does not include VAT if you got hit by german customs for Vat on GB parcel
Ordering direct with Zavvi and shipping to germany for both steelbooks with shipping cost included is €64.98
If customs in germany apply Vat that would be extra €12.34 (19% Vat in Germany) (€64.98 x 19% = €12.34)
Total if German VAT is applied by german customs = €77.32
Handling fee would be added on top of the €77.32 for collection of Vat
German Post office handling fee for collection of Vat payment would have to be more than €20.25 on top of €77.32 which already has Vat to make it more expensive than ordering from Zavvi and also would mean on top of this not getting hit for Vat by german customs on GB order.
In Rep of Ireland An Post handling fee for Vat collection is €10.00 what's the handling fee for collection of Vat in Germany with Deutsche Post office ?
Did you get hit by Customs Vat collection on your Group Buy parcel then you have paid massive amount more than if you had of ordered from Zavvi even if Vat was applied by german customs on a Zavvi order.
GB Cost with shipping €95.57
Zavvi cost with shipping €64.98
If German Customs applied 19% VAT Fee cost would be
GB order including shipping Vat on €95.57 = €18.15 = €113.72 (Excluding Vat = €95.57)
Zavvi order including shipping Vat on €64.98 = €12.34 = €77.32 (Excluding Vat = €64.98)
+ Deutsche Post handling fee for collection of Vat
I don't get how you can make out GB works out cheaper than ordering from Zavvi even with Vat applied to Zavvi parcel by customs
Have you forgotten to include the extra Group Buy Shipping cost of €25.61 to what you paid in GB purchase.

Zavvi steelbook cost £27.99 = €31.99 + €0.50 postage cost to germany = €32.49 before German Vat is added
Price on Zavvi website for each steelbook in Euros is €31.99
€32.49 includes postage + €6.00 Dhl Fee = €38.49
19% Vat on €38.49 = 7.31
Total = €45.50 for one steelbook
If you ordered from Zavvi cost for the 2 steelbooks including Vat and Handling fee would be €84.46
Cost using GB before Vat or DHL fee is added and excludes shipping for both Steelbooks was $83.55 = €71.06
GB Shipping cost is $30.10 = €25.61
€71.06 + €25.61 = €96.67
Group Buy €96.67 + €6.00 DHL fee = €102.67 + 19% Vat = €122.17
Zavvi cost for 2 steelbooks including DHL fee and 19% VAT =€84.46 and that's only if Customs in Germany applied Vat

Even if German Customs did not apply Vat on the GB order Zavvi still works out cheaper even with Vat and Dhl fee included.

GB cost including shipping and excludes DHL Fee and Vat = €96.67
With DHL fee and Vat it's €122.17
If you got hit for DHL fee and Vat on GB order from Andy then you have paid a lot more than ordering direct from Zavvi

Look very similar but not exactly the same.
US: full gloss all over with de-bossed symbol/logo and embossed title.
UK: zero background with glossed parts:-
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE - zero background ... gloss de-bossed symbol/logo and embossed title ... gloss characters on the front … gloss tesseract cube on the back.
AGE OF ULTRON - zero background ... gloss de-bossed symbol/logo and embossed title ... gloss characters on the front … gloss Ultron on the back.
