Yeah I loved The Incredible Hulk and really gutted it never got a sequel and still hoping for a surprised announcement that there'll do one. Has for the steelbook it may not match the rest but it's still a great Steelbook to have in your collection, plus you never know with the recent zavvi/universal exclusives we may get a new steelbook soon.

I'm really surprised there aren't already plans for a new Hulk movie, after all there was a lot of fan feedback praising the Hulk's role in the Avengers - and Mark Ruffalo in particular. But here we are a few years later and I don't think there's even rumours of it now.

Wouldn't it have been better if they'd done a standalone Hulk with Ruffalo instead of a couple of stupid, pointless Spiderman reboots that nobody wanted?!

Tim Roth said in an interview that there were actually rumblings from Marvel after The Avengers movie about bringing Blonsky/Abomination back. Too bad that didn't happen.

Damn I canceled my zbox after seeing how crap It was and now I've lost this order
Surely it will come back in we all no it's only sold out to force ppl into taking the failing zbox aswell
^^^^ This! Any time they attach another (failing) product you just know they got a few more knocking around ;)

@MrBMT I'm pretty sure it'll be out b4 that time, Zavvi will change the date again
Right, that's possible - the point I was making was more that you most likely won't see any real pics until a couple of days after release as Zavvi generally aren't in the habit of providing real pics of Steelbooks.

What exactly was not 'proper' about that Hulk film? As a Hulk fan for 35 years, it was damn great in my opinion.
Erased the crap version Ang Lee did. It had 'A' list actors and a great story.
The horizontal steelbook is a problem? Why? You don't don't like it?- Get the one that isn't horizontal, and live with it. It IS part of the MCU, and no bellyaching is gonna change that.
(And the credit tie-ins make it essential)

I meant it doesn't feel like it's part of the Universe they've created, plus the recasted actor doesn't help

I was hoping this would release in April before Age of Ultron releases not after it releases

you would like to think so, but i think its been done purposely like that usually get a film on steel about 3months after cinema release so would expect to see around 23rd july an age of ultron steel. so that would leave 2 months between this avengers assemble release and age of ultron steel.

Apprently i heard when they told him about the Avengers movie, Norton just shrugged it off saying that it wont work. But man was he wrong.

It wouldn't have worked as well with Norton IMHO. As much as I like his Banner I just don't see Norton's take on the character having the same great chemistry as Ruffalo has with RDJ. I'll admit maybe it could have been better but I'd rather have a guy in the role that appreciates being there.

Totally agree with this. RDJ and Ruffalo have great chemistry and as much as I love Eddie I just don't think it would've worked as well.

Norton was ok as banner, But Mark Ruffalo just made it his in the Avengers, just cannot beat him.
I agree with these comments. On its own, I really liked Norton's Hulk, but when I saw what Ruffalo did with that character in The Avengers, it took my enjoyment to a whole new level. Just spectacular, IMO.
