What I don't understand is..
If you have cancelled and can't stand the Steelbook, why are you bothering to be on the thread and posting negative comments about it?

Because I was interested in seeing the finished product, which thanks to my friends arriving today I was able to have a good look at it. If it had been better, I'd of picked it up later on. I am a Predominantly Marvel only collector these days and I'm fairly forgiving but this is just poor [emoji3]

If people don't want those commenting on steels they don't like, haven't ordered or cancelled, half the threads here would be ghost towns [emoji14]

I don't need to justify anything, this is a crap steel with terrible lenti. Only reason I originally ordered is in the hope of a full lenti slip then cancelled when it was confirmed it wasn't. I don't like the German steels with mini lenti magnets so certainly don't like or want this.

I tend to make my own judgement on steels when I actually have them in hand, not after looking at a few pics. Not sure you can call it a crap steel without having seen it in hand. Although, you're entitled to your opinion.

Not sure about the lenti, but my early impression of the steel in the pics is that it looks nice. Hopefully I'll like it when it gets delivered.

Let's not discourage negative comments. They help to put our own opinions in perspective.

There is a big difference between giving comments/feedbacks and direct accusing without proof.. The fact is you can't judge the quality of a steelbook just by looking at the photos

I don't get why so many people are so anti matte finishes. Granted Gloss can be nice, but a decent quality Matte finish can be very nice too.

Edit: I know particularly in the US there have been some extremely low quality matte finishes, so I'm wondering if that's at least in part the reason?

Being a lover of the magnetic lenti and especially the German ones, I'm looking forward to getting mine.
It will look great next to Star Trek, Hansel & Gretel and WWZ.

Its not as bad as the photos, no. The lenticular has a habit of soaking up a lot of surrounding light (because of the plastic lens array its made from), so it looks a bit washed out from the angles it was taken from. I tried again, and these new photos looks more like what it does in hand.

First one is artificial light only, second one is near a window (a bit more washed out look) without a flash.

PS- all the photos I took in my PREVIOUS threads were in daylight next to a window and NO flash.

Does look good, it's just a shame the sizing on the lenticular of the characters doesn't match that of what's on the steelbook

Everyone not happy with this steel should send it back as defective. After all the fuss for this and it turns out to be bang average.

Lets stick it to Zavvi and put them out of business once and for all.
