Mine have arrived, comparing the UK Steelbook to the Italian and German copies, the UK case has a more blueish tint to the Avengers symbol than the others which gives it a bit more pop.

Just popped into HMV, grabbed one of the hundreds of steelbook copies on the shelf, theres a ton of them, over 100 in 3-4 different places in the shop.

Verdict - while not as exclusive as other Avenger steelbooks due to HMV/studio/marketing company catching on to the steelbook hysteria of the past 8 months, its a clean well presented simple shiny steelbook. Reasonable price. Shield logo looks cracker on the back. The "A" IS embossed. Disc itself is thread bare. 8/10

Got mine in the exact same place. I've never returned items to HMV before, can I just get them swapped in store or do I need to do it online?

go into the store with the steelbook and pretend you bought it in the store. they wont know the difference. just say you took it home, opened it and there was the scratch.

if they say no, then contact hmv online about online replacement.

Easily done.

Lets say the packer gets 50 boxes to open. He listens to Whitney Houston on his iPod and uses his stanley knife. All of a sudden... BOOM!!!! slashed every spine in the box.

Whistles quietly, and doesnt say a word.

Easily done i say.
