Mine arrived scratched across the spine in the same area as others have described. Who unpacked these? Edward Scissorhands?

I've sent it back in a Play.com box and wrote 'This is how you package a Steelbook' across the front and on a note inside. >:]

I think the good news is that we know HMV printed a CRAP ton of these, so hopefully everyone can get a replacement that is not damaged in some way.

Really glad I canceled my HMV-order and went for the Amazon.de 3D-order...especially now that the HMV-version appears to be cut as well. The difference between the two is now the 3D-disc only, which makes the Amazon.de more interesting to me.

For the record, I'm actually really happy with the steelbook. It has an awesome design with embossing and interior art, and not forgetting that it comes with one of the best films this year! All that for the price of just £12.79... no complaints here.

I do understand everyone's disappointment, but I'll happily wait for them to release a super edition of some sort. The film is so good that I won't mind double, triple, quadruple (etc) dipping on it.

You can still return it for a refund or a replacement. My two copies arrived today and the one I decided to open had a dent, so I had to open the other. I will of course be returning the dented one as it's no good to anyone.
